Banji Fehintola is an Executive Board Member and Head, Financial Services at Africa Finance Corporation (AFC). He is responsible for leading several business lines at AFC, including Treasury & Funding, Financial Institutions & Trade, Syndications, Capital Mobilization & Partnerships and Financial Advisory. Banji joined Africa Finance Corporation (AFC) in 2008 as its pioneer Treasurer and has been instrumental in building the Corporation’s treasury function and strengthening its position in the global capital markets.

Banji is widely recognized for his deep expertise in African capital markets, his leadership in structuring innovative financing solutions, and his unwavering commitment to advancing Africa’s economic transformation through strategic, high-impact partnerships. Prior to AFC, he worked at Citibank Nigeria and Arthur Andersen. Banji is a Chartered Accountant, CFA Charterholder, Harvard Business School alumnus, and holds degrees from the University of Ibadan, the University of Glasgow, and the International School of Management, Paris. He also serves on several boards, including the Board of Governors of the CFA Institute.
