Nominated by the Private Infrastructure Development Group (PIDG), Denesh Srishanker is a seasoned leader in credit enhancement and infrastructure development. He currently serves as the Group Head for Credit Enhancement Facilities at PIDG, driving the development and investment in new local guarantee businesses. Since joining PIDG in 2011, Denesh has contributed extensively across the group, including two years with the Emerging Africa Infrastructure Fund and later with GuarantCo, where he undertook origination, structuring, execution, fundraising, and syndication. Prior to PIDG, Denesh worked in credit and derivatives markets at Standard Bank and Barclays Capital in London. He holds a BSc in Mathematics from Imperial College and an MSc in Finance from Bayes Business School.
